About

A massive amount of electronic equipment was bought between 1970 and 2000 and it is just now coming to the end of its life. The City of Kenora now has an onsite Waste Electronic Depot. All computers and related equipment may now be brought to the Transfer Facility free of charge. Just because it has a plug does not mean it is recyclable. Approved equipment includes the following: all types of display devices and monitors, hard drives, portable computers, lap tops, computer peripherals such as keyboards and mice, printers and copiers, telephone equiment, cell phones and pagers, audio and video equipment, cameras, vcrs, betamaxes, power cords for computers. Although this equiment is free of charge please stop in to the office to advise what you have and we will tell you where to put it.
