Reuse by sharing with a neighbour or friend.

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) - do not pour down the drain or place content-containing cans in the garbage.

  • Take to a County Selected HHW Depot (aerosol cans only)
  • Take to the County Mobile HHW Depot
  • Check with your local retailer to see if they will take back for proper disposal
  • Search for other options on MaketheDrop.com

Divert from landfill - take empty aerosol cans to County Selected HHW Depots or the Mobile HHW Depot. All paints and solvents are accepted at the Mobile HHW Depot. Check website for the schedule of Mobile HHW Depot.

Place empty paint cans or cans with containing dry paint in the garbage. If paints cans are completely dry and empty, they may be placed in the metal bin at the Waste Facility.
