About

Reuse if in good condition:

  • Donate to a charitable organization
  • Hold a garage sale
  • Sell through classified ads
  • Post on an exchange website (Wellington.Reuses.com)
  • Take to County Reuse Centre

If in poor condition and made of wood, divert from landfill by taking to the woodpile in Aberfoyle, Belwood, Harriston, or Riverstown Waste Facility.

If in poor condition and made primarily of metal, place in a scrap metal bin at any County waste facility for recycling.

Otherwise, place in the garbage.

If you have broken glass (i.e. broken windows/mirrors), do not place with your blue box recyclables or regular garbage. Please refer to the “Broken Glass” Recyclopedia entry for proper disposal instructions.

Choose from the option(s) below for more information.
