Chemical cosmetics such as nail polish, nail polish remover and hair dye are Household Hazardous Waste - do not place in the garbage or pour down the drain.

  • Take to a County Selected HHW Depot (aerosol cans only)
  • Take to a County HHW Event Day
  • Search for other options at MaketheDrop.ca

Many empty Containers that previously contained health or beauty products are recyclable via the County Blue Box Programme. Divert from landfill - take empty aerosol cans to County Selected HHW Depots and HHW Event Days.

Place non-recyclable empty containers in the garbage.
