Clothing and Textiles

Shopping at second hand clothing stores is a great way to save money. For the price, well-made used clothing is a bargain, compared to poorly made new clothing. Clothing you no longer need can be sold on consignment at a number of local stores, or donated to any of several charities. Clothes you donate should be clean, and since space is usually limited, it s best to give clothes that are in season. Items that go together, like shoes, socks or multi-piece outfits should be fastened together. Make sure to call ahead since different locations accept different types of clothing. We list Used Clothing Stores under Reuse Business and Reuse Charities on this website. Please send us information about these so we can keep our listings up to date.
