About

Shopping at second hand clothing stores is a great way to save money. For the price, well-made used clothing is a bargain! Clothing you no longer need can be sold on consignment at a number of local stores or donated to any of several charities. Clothes you donate should be clean and since space is usually limited, it’s best to give clothes that are in season. Items that go together, like shoes, socks or multi-piece outfits should be fastened together. Make sure to call ahead since different locations accept different types of clothing. Contact the RCBC Recycling Hotline for a list of organizations in your area.
