About

Food/beverage and product containers can be rinsed and placed in the Containers blue box for recycling.

This includes empty: shampoo, detergent and wind shield washer bottles etc.

Do not include containers that contained a hazardous material such as oil. Please take these containers to the Peterborough City/County Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste Depot at 400 Pido Road or the seasonal MHSW sites free of charge.
